Community Prayer Circle
We wanted to create a space to come together during this time and hear how you are doing in the midst of the Coronavirus.
First, we started a community thread in our FB group.
We warmly welcome you to join the conversation. It feels nourishing to hear from women and hear how everyone is feeling. (If you aren’t part of our free WINC FB group, please request access here first.)
Not surprisingly… women are feeling things across the whole gamut.
Some of us are more vulnerable in our health and/or our finances, and not surprisingly really scared. Some of us are embodying the voice of trust. Some of us are everything in between, or “all of the above” mixed together.
We’d love to hear from you specifically.
We believe this is a time for more community, not less, even as we are more often in our homes to protect our families and each other.
So we are bringing our community together this Tuesday at 2pm MT for a prayer circle. (This is a non-denominational prayer circle, so all spiritual and non-spiritual views are welcome.)
Elizabeth and I have noticed that sometimes our deepest care gets translated into worry and fear for the worst. So, for years, we’ve been practicing focusing our attention on praying for the good and the beautiful that we want to call-in, instead.
We’ve found that we just feel better with this prayer practice, and our lives seem to get better in real and tangible ways as well. So for the next few weeks, we want to bring our community together to connect, receive support, and pray together.
Format for Prayer Circles:
• Begin with a meditation to help us all relax our nervous systems.
• Hear from women about how they’re feeling.
• Begin a popcorn style prayer circle, with women speaking out who they are praying for and what they are calling-in to being. (It’s really beautiful.)
Seriously, the prayer circles so far have been so much more inspiring and empowering than the constant conversations assessing the Coronavirus news (and conspiracy theories), and trying to predict an uncertain future.
We hope you will join us on Tuesday. Please RSVP, so we can plan accordingly for the group size.
When: Tuesday, April 28th at 2pm MT
RSVP: Must RSVP to attend
